I was in no mood to catch public transport, so we hopped in the first taxi available at the airport. Our driver was a former Formula 1 driver, as he drove 120 km/h down the highway, weaving between cars and trucks. We made it to our hostel from the airport in half the time suggested! The drive was a winding road along the coast, where we passed many football pitches and long stretches of beach, although it didn't look too inviting.
For the next two days I spent most of the time in bed, although I did manage to finish reading the first book in the Millenium Trilogy.

Having not seen anything in Lima, we caught a taxi to Miraflores and walked around for a short while. The main purpose was to buy some more medicine. We took some photos of the parks and buildings, and returned to the hostel to pack.
In the afternoon we took a much slower taxi to the airport and left for Bogota, Colombia.
