I left Manchester and flew into Calgary Alberta on the 5th July, I planed only to stay one night in Calgary before I was to make my way towards Edmonton to reunite with Royce who was coming back to Canada for a two week holiday.

I got out the airport and followed the directions on how to get to the hostel I was staying for the night, This proved to be strange as I was on and off bus's to sky trains and ended up not paying as the system was weird to start of with,

I looked extremely lost and was helped by many people on the trains asking me where I wanted to go and they pointed me in the right direction, Thankfully
I arrived at the hostel safe and well, But it wasn't the best place that i choose due to it being loud and all I wanted to do was to sleep on the jet lag I had.

I was leaving the next day and i didn't realise it was the start of the Stampede in Calgary, I put my backpack on my back and started walking into town to find a nice cafe for breakfast, but to what i found was streets full of people and a parade.

It wasn't the best idea I had to walk through the town with my bag but i had no other choice, I got out of the city and found a pub to have my lunch as time flew bye trying to get away from the crowd.

I ate my lunch and tried to flag a taxi down which was impossible, I ended up walking for miles looking for the greyhound station and only made the bus by the split second. I was extremely lucky and was happy to leave Calgary to get away from the extreme busyness.
