Once I arrived back in Cairns I stayed at the Gilligans Backpackers, I shared a room with 4 Canadian girls who were all best friends on a girls holiday.

I went out a couple of nights as there was a bar directly below our hostel.

I booked myself for a boat trip for 3 days 2 night on the barrier reef, With 5 intro dives.

The first day on the boat I got geared up with the tanks & wet suit, I did a practice under the boat to get use to the breathing. At first it was scary and I panicked and kept returning to the top to breath properly.

I done this a couple of times and the instructor basically said if i do it again he will not take me down. This made me kick myself up the ass and tell myself you can do it, Don't be a wimp.

I managed to do it and released the air in my jacket to sink to the bottom of the ocean. It was so exciting.

I had to keep my arms by my side and kick my feet, As i glided through the Great Barrier Reef. I felt like little mermaid under the sea as there was a whole new world below, So many fishes & Beautiful coral.

I done two dives in the one day before moving boats for the night, I settled into the new boat it was very luxury and the crew were amazing with a open bar at night.

Mostly all the divers on board were doing there Padi Course and I was the only one that choose intro dives as I didn't yet no if I would enjoy it.

At night the divers went out night diving, they jumped into the dark blue sea with around 10 reef sharks around the boat front. I thought these people were CRAZY.

The next day I done two more dives, I had my own instructor & he spent more time with me, Took me through some caves and found many nemo, I remember very clearly turning around to
see a reef shark, All i saw was the fine and tried not to panic.

My instructor told me it was ok, and kept guiding me through the reef

Diving felt amazing and one day I would like to get my Padi as it literally felt there was a whole new world under the ocean, So much to explore and I just got a taste of what my life could be like.

Once my time was over on the boat I returned to Carins, I had one day to relax by the lagoon and then I was heading on a day trip to Mission Beach for my Sky Dive.

I was the first person to be called out from the bus I came on, I didn't have any time to panic, To over think or even see anyone doing it first.

Before I knew it I had the gear on and my video for sky diving began.

I was at the front of the plane sitting next to the pilot, It was a tiny plane and I was attached to my instructor who talked me through how it would go, He spoke to me half way up and by this point i was extremely nervous and excited that i was going to jump out a plane at 16 thousand feet in the air.

I was the last one to jump, Trying to put my two legs over the edge was impossible that the instructor had to push one foot out and put all his weight on me

That was it, I tumbled out the plane, and fell thousands of feet. I took in the view and could not stop screaming as I had so much adrenaline pumping through me.
By the time I landed my voice was high pitch and my hearing had gone, I was officially deaf for the whole day and got to enjoy lying on the beach with a drink to keep going over in my head what i actually done.

As soon as I landed I couldn't believe i just done that and it was unreal until I got my sky diving video. It had to be the best feeling and scariest thing I have ever done in my life.
