We had a wonderful time in Copenhagen, and it was a great place to be introduced to Scandanavian culture. I was impressed with what I saw. Our first impression was very positive. Easy to use public transportation around the city, and it seemed like a majority of the citizens rode bicycles to commute around downtown. We didn't see a single traffic jam, the air was clear. It was completely unlike Naples and even a lot of places in America.

Copenhagen had beautiful architecture, and a lovely park called Tivoli that was filled with everything from rides to ballet performances, cafes and restaurants to water fountains and flower gardens. We took a boat ride along the harbor and had lunch in the old port area of Nyhavn. The changing of the guard at the Royal Palace took place precisely at 12:00pm each day, and my neighbor Joan who is from Copenhagen said we absolutely had to see it. Scott toured the Statens art museum and I walked along the Stroget pedestrian shopping street, admiring the blown glass and danish artwork.
