its been awhile, but ill try my hardest to keep you up to date as soon as i can.

after the annoying nuisence of trying to arrange our brasil visa in argentina (she only gave us 41 days when we can get up to 90 how unfair!) we took our last luxuary bus in argentian up to the Iguassu Falls. Given that it was our last luxuary bus, we took fist class and to our surprise aws full of píllows, blankets, complete food service, wine and champange. really funny actually.

the actual border town puerto iguasu is a pretty uneventful place, however the startling heat killed us after a few minutes and most of the time we spent in a/c.

we spent a complete day at the foz and it was really spectacular. the park is full of little walks that you can do to get up close to the falls, and by chance we found our favourite french couple wondering around the park as well. together samson and humbert are always up for an adventure, causing them to lead us across a fence clearly marked `no pasar` (no entrance) over huge boulders until we came to the most beautiful little sanctury under a fall. we spent a little time there swimming in the private pools under the falls before heading back to the tourist paths.

the day was so sweltering hot, that samson and i could not resist the 15minute speedboat ride takes you under the mist and power of the falls. it was= one of the most fun things i have done, probably because it saved us from boiling to death in the heat and got us completely drenched!

the second day we spent with alix and humbert and the brasilian side of the foz (its a 20 min bus ride away) and had our first taste of brasilian portugese. i still remember our time spend sitting at the border waiting for the next bus, reading from our guidebooks getting every little bit of pronounciation completely wrong. its such a strange language. sounds kinda african if you ask me!!!!

the brasilian side of the foz was spectacular especially since you get a panoramic view of the entire falls and really get to appreciate how big he thing actually is! as it had been raining the previous night the waterfalls were going crazy so much so that the area that we climbed over the previous day (no entrace bit) was completely covered with water and we probably would have died attemping it the following day!

ill put some pics usp just so u can see how cool the foz really are!
