All abord for the cancun express.. retail therapy

So we arrived in Cancun and its not so bad after all. The city is divided into two areas. The hotel zone which is basically a narrow strip the houses hundreds of luxury resorts and downtown, the normal part of town. Our limited budgets could barely afford us lodging in cancun downtown let alone the resrot area, and for the first time this trip, Samson and I are in shared dorms because we just could not afford a private room.
We spend the first day doing a little bit of much needed retail therapy. We visited Plaza Las Americas which is a pretty flash shopping mall that had everything we could ever dream of. It even had a Zara. Unfortunetly my budget didnt stretch that far, however I was lucky enought to find that Zingara Çluxury swimwear´ was half price, so I bought a bikini for 495 pesos = 50 USD. And this is cheap. Told you mexico is pretty damn expensive. Anyways these bikinis are beautiful and are made and fit so well for a curvy body ¿stupid australian ones are for skinny tall peopleª?, and I finally feel normal because my lowrise bikini bottom just wasnt cutting it on the beaches. beleive it or not my bikini bottom was huge % it covers too much. So now I have one that isnt quite as brazen as a brazillian bottom but still shows off alot more ass. I couldnt bring myself to buy one that was basically a gstring bottom.
We ended up seeing the the lion, the witch and the wardrobe, mainly because they were showing it in english and the cinema was flash. wasnt bad, and it was nice to see a movie in english for a change.
samson also bought himself an "official" club america soccer jersey. After careful consideration of which mexican club he wanted to support- based on the colours of the jersey of course! And after contemplating fake 5 dollar ones for the last few weeks, we finally ended up buying an official one. For 500 pesos. And that was half price. Needless to say hes wearing it everywhere and loving it coz hes making more friends left right and centre.
