the next few days we lived in bliss..
white sand beaches, turquoise carribean waters and no electricity.
our only responsibilities was remembering to eat and sleep.
during our visit to tulum, we managed to visit the ruins that were in the area. although not huge, they are spectacular because they are perched right on the waters edge next to the most beautiful beach and water! these mayans knew how to live!
the beach relaxing in tulum is getting a little expensive because its eating at the resort restaurant or not eating at all. its funny how backpacker places in mexico end up becoming more expensive than one in a first world country....
