Hey guys!
so my second day in antigua, and the spanish is looking a little better! we woke up pretty early with goals to climb volcan pacaya - the worlds 3rd most active volcano!
The climb wasnt too bad for the first hour or two, but as we neared the top of the volcano the weather started going wild. first it was just strong winds that were practically blowing us from side to side off the clift. Then came the worst of it - millions of tiny rocks pelting at us from every direction from the winds. It was so bad my side that was exposed to the wind was in absolute pain - like tiny bullets hitting us!! Needless to say that our guide motioned (war movie style) us to 'get back get back' coz i think he was worried that lava was going to spurt out of the volcano
In the afternoon, samson treated me to a salsa lesson. I actually thought I wasnt too bad mastering the basic moves as well as a couple of fancy turns. Then I went to watch samson have a dance lesson with his old teacher and I was blown away. Samson is REALLY GOOD! (and i have it on camera to prove it!) But I dont think I'll ever really admit it to him!
para mi, its daily lessons from samson before i get good enought to be able to confidently hit the dancefloors!
adios amigos

. I was happy when we got to safer grounds, but I think Samson was enjoying the thrill of the howling winds so much, that he would have climbed up on all fours a la lord of the rings. Meanwhile as I struggled to walk and fight off the flying objects in the wind, somehow, someway, samson caught the whole moment on film!In the afternoon, samson treated me to a salsa lesson.
