Today, we woke up and hustled to get camp packed up. We walked out of the tent and were met with a surprise. Our trail mix bag was torn to pieces and raisins were strewn all over the camp site. Our bread was completely gone, Cliff Bar wrappers were laying under the picnic table, and something had clearly tried to break into our peanut butter. Shoot! We had even been warned about the raccoons at this camp site. That's what we get for being lazy about packing our stuff up. Then, to add to our food misfortune, as we were making our oatmeal half of it fell over into the grass! The birds of the campsite quickly found the spilled oats and dug in. So glad that we could feed the raccoons dinner and the birds breakfast.

It was cold and our tent was all dewey so we laid it out to dry while we ate and tried to warm up. After packing up we took off for the day, all ready to get some major biking done. We biked out of the campground and were instantly met with a big gust of wind. We hoped that it would die down, but the wind was at our face all day. It was exhausting, to say the least. We did not make it many miles today and ended up staying on the side of the road outside of Ragged Point, where we had a beautiful view of the ocean. Even though it was a hard ride we did see some very beautiful things. We got to see zebras on the side of the road and hundreds of Elephant Seals laying out on the beach soaking up the sun and many beautiful coastal views.
