This morning we gathered our things and said goodbye to the amazing Harmon family. While we were there they treated us like family and made us feel so at ease, we didn't want to leave. Holly walked us down to the bike path and pointed us in the right direction as we rode off. We both talked for a long time about the experience we had just shared with The Harmon family. We felt like we had been long time family friends. Miranda had shown us around town, introduced us to her boyfriend, Tyson, and treated us as friends. While discussing how amazing our time had been we also started talking about the feeling of sadness when we would leave the amazing people who have helped us so much. It brought us back to the beginning of our journey. We realize that every single individual who has helped us has touched our lives in a very intimate way. Traveling around unfamiliar places can leave a tourer feeling vulnerable. All the people we have had the honor of meeting have built us up. They've told us that they respect what we are doing, they want to help us in all different ways, and they give us the warmth and love that we need to continue on. We are absolutely blessed to have met every single one of you along this journey and we are so grateful. That was our morning conversation....
