We rented out some snorkel gear and spent the day at the beach.  It is quite busy here, the snorkeling isn't as great as the national park at Exmouth and the water is pretty chilly but a great way to spend the day none-the-less.  I ran into Thomas from my Exmouth dive trip and he happened to be staying in my campsite with a Spanish looking girl - when there's only one main road along the coast you're always going to bump into people you've met before!

Took a walk to the bay named 'Shark Nursery' but all I saw were stingrays.  I did come across a group of people there from one of the bus tours and got chatting to an interesting guy.  Quite old but a huge mountain and fell runner who'd also worked in a mountain hut in the Alps at one point - cushty job!

Tomorrow we head to Carnavon to meet a friend of Mattieus' who's stuck there as he broke his leg at work - he was picking bananas and slipped on one - classic!
