A wild night out in Picton

Ok - so it is my first night of solo traveling again which means that I am going to have to make an effort to meet people are socialise. When you are traveling with a friend you do still meet people but you don't have to always be making an effort. So first of all I had to check into a hostel on my own. I stayed in a place called the Villa which was a wicked hostel which provided free tea and coffee which is a winner in my book and it was such a friendly little hostel. When I arrived into my dorm I immediatly met three girls, mother and daughter Carol and Jenn and Irish girl Clare. Who were planning to big night out in Picton and invited me out. Whilst we were chatting about this a crazy Kiwi called Jeff was sitting outside our windon and invited himself along so we had a night out planned.
Now Picton is a place most people never end up staying. It is a transit place, where you get the ferries to the North island. I did not have much hope for our night out. So we went on a pub crawl. We did the Irish bar, the Scottish bar before heading to a 60s party in a restaurant before heading on to the one and only club (late bar with dancing) where I ended up dancing on a table with Steffi. A top night out. And what made it a top night out. The fact that it was not planned or expected.
So instead of staying one night and moving on I ended up staying a couple of days hanging out in the hostel sun bathing in the garden. More thumbnails ...
