Yesterday, after arriving at Wanaka, I managed to get some water skiing in!  I am so sore from it, but the water was sooo calm, it was fantastic.  I can't say I've ever managed to waterski in a wet suit before, nor have I done it with such beautiful scenery!  Today, five of us rented a car, and we hiked for about 4 hrs, along the Rob Roy Valley, which was great.  We had keas (birds) waiting for us, and saw a bit of an avalanche from the lookout.   Lots of sheep and cows were along the road, and I particularly enjoyed the lambs!
