I arrived in Queenstown today, and already, two from our group tried out the bungy jump! We also signed up for our own activities. I'll keep you posted later as to what I might do. I went up the cable car, and saw the views.
(Morning in Mt. Cook-- views from outside our hotel)
Otherwise, much of the day included travel from Mt. Cook, which we got to see so well in the morning, with clear skies (sigh-- at least, I now know there really is such a mountain)! It was a shame to be on a bus in this weather, but we got to stop and get out to admire everything.
(Leaving the hotel in the morning)
Lake Pukaki, is absolutely stunning. I love the colour of it.

Also, I lucked out by sitting beside a local who gave me good information and was my own personal tour guide for the ride!
