We spent the day at Universal Studios, Hollywood. We went on the famous Studio tour, which was great fun, and luckily not too scary for the kids - we saw King Kong and Jaws, nearly got washed away in a flash flood, survived and earthquake and the Mummy's tomb. The kids were happy to meet Spongebob Squarepants, and Kate loved meeting Dora the Explorer and dancing with Curious George. Both Josh & Kate had a wonderful time firing sponge balls all around the 'Thornberry's Blast Zone', and got their thrills watching Shrek 4D twice. We also did the studio tour twice and sat in different positions both times. We watched an amazing live water battle show, 'Water World' - the kids stayed entranced the whole time, and later we were entertained by different animal actors performing tricks. Fred went on the Jurassic Park ride and the 'Mummy' ride, but I had to look after the kids, *ahem*.

Love Universal Studios!
We loved it there in 1999. I nearly had a heart attack on the Jurrasic park ride, but we ended up on it twice! Meillyn loves the photo of Dora and Spongebob! Will be great to hear all about it in person soon. xx Yve
