We started the day with brunch at Goofy's Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel. This was the special treat we promised Kate as she didn't have a party this year. The buffet food was plentiful & a big variety, but for the cost ($125 for us all) it just wasn't worth it. Kate however, got a huge buzz out of meeting Pluto, Goofy, Chip & Dale, Aladdin & The Mad Hatter - she got photos & autographs from them all. Josh also enjoyed himself, though they were too excited to eat much. 3 staff members sang her Happy Birthday and presented her with a candle on a cup cake, and she got a big cuddle from either Chip or Dale (can't remember which one). After lunch we drove to Hollywood Blvd, and Gauman's Chinese Theatre where we place our hands over the stars' imprints and looked at their names on the sidewalk. Then we drove up the windy Mulholland Drive (can understand why they named a rollercoaster after it) hoping to see the Hollywood sign, but no such luck, we were on the wrong part of it. So we went down through Beverly Hills (lots of flash mansions and palm trees) and along Rodeo Drive (more flash houses, and then flash shops like Dior & Chanel). It took us two hours in rush hour traffic to get from Rodeo Drive to Anaheim - arrrrrrgh!
