We spent a few hours in Disneyland today before crossing over to California Adventure park - however just before we went to go into the California, we discovered we had lost Kate's ticket - and in Disneyland, no ticket, no entry! Fred went back into Disneyland to the spot where he used the ticket to get a fastpass onto the Buzz Lightyear ride, but it wasn't there - luckily he was issued a pass for that day. California Adventure park was really neat - lots to do there - and you wouldn't believe our brave 7 year old girl went on the scariest rollercoaster there twice!!! Josh & I went on it once - and let me tell you, it took me about 10 minutes to talk myself into going on it, and I nearly lost my voice SCREAMING the whole way - no wonder the rollercoaster is called California Screamin'!!! We saw an absolutely fantasic stage show of Aladdin - just amazing, flying carpets & all! The last ride we went on was 'Soaring over California' which was a simulated flight over some beautiful California scenary - you really felt like you were in a glider and it was just a wonderful experience. On the way out of the park, we tried one last ditch effort of going to the lost and found to see if some honest person had handed our ticket in, but they hadn't. Happy ending though, thanks to Disney - they gave us a replacement ticket for Kate so we didn't have to buy a new one - awesome, thanks Disneyland!
