This afternoon we all had a wonderful catch up with Fred's Auntie Sue & Uncle Kurt, and also his cousin Kurt Junior. We arrived at their place at about 1pm, and stayed on for a Thanksgiving dinner - attended by 22 people! We met lots of first cousins, second cousins and probably 6th cousins, was hard to tell after a while, but we had a great time chatting to everyone. For dinner we had full-on turkey & stuffing, candied yams, mashed potato, cranberry jelly, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert. Joshua had said 'ooh-yuck' to pumpkin pie when we told him it was traditional earlier, but when a piece was put before him (and no one bothered to tell him it was pumpkin pie) he gobbled it down, and later went back for seconds!! What a wonderful evening.
