Even though we really enjoyed our stay at Tir Na Nog, Pesonas Resort was just calling our names. So, the following morning, we book ourselves into this 5 bungalow resort.
Pesonas Resort has only 5 bungalows and is just so beautiful. Alex, a beautiful English lady manages/owns(?) the place and she was so nice to us the day before: keeping our bags with her, while we searched out other accomdations (she was booked that night). Another stunning lady we noticed also helped run the place, and as it turns out, her name is NILU as well! She says to me, "ahh, that is a Balinese name! I am Balinese." Yes, yes, yes :D, I am fitting right in already :D. haahahaaa. ;D

Anyways, we just LOVED this place. The entire place was decorated in a "Bollywood" style! Our rooms had cable TV/DVD players, A/C, fan, hot water, private lanai with bamboo curtains that we could adjust for more privacy and our very own hammock! The resort had a beautiful pool, bar, hookahs on the beach, bungalows on the beach, and Indian food, along with many many many smiles.
It was a little pricier to stay here (but, oh man, when can you splurge like this for only $12/person per night? We did get a discount too, for staying for many nights, so that was great too ;D.

So, over the 2 weeks that we ended up staying here, we lounged around the pool, had room service and lazy days in our room (we were even able to bring our TV out to our lanai and watch DVDs on balmy, drizzly nights), and even watch little bats sleep from outside our window.

Paradise found at Pesonas Resort!

Alex on

I don't want t o say that in some rooms on the 2nd floor water smells like stink damp, i also don't want to say that the hotel's view on the picture is better than real view, all the more i don't want to say that there's no light and water during the day in this hotel (this problem almost solved on the island (apart from penny pincher's places as Pesona)). I just want to say that my clothes weку unpunished stolen from the laundry and manager of this hotel (Sally) were on the side of her thievish staff. Only absence of police and presence in the middle part of Gily make the staff of Pesona feel themselves like local gods.
