This morning we drove out of town and over the hill to find the most beautiful beach so far which was Langs Beach. It was a long and wide, white sandy beach. We finally found a great beach to unload from driving so much and we actually got in the water. It was really warm, like Hawaii in the winter. We body surfed and frolicked in the water and felt rejuvenated again. The ocean water absorbs negativity and renews the spirit. It sure did for us! We spent the whole day there swimming, sun worshiping and reading.
We had to find a place to stay since we couldn't free camp so we drove 10 minutes north and found a holiday park right on the ocean. We went to dump our tanks when Jim noticed the water tank cap missing. I did it again! He was pissed and we had to drive back to Mangawhai and retrieve it. Thank God it was there where I had left it. Jim finally cooled off and let it go admitting it was his 'stuff'. We arrived back at the holiday park to watch the beautiful sunset on the beach with its gorgeous sand dunes. The sand was white soft sand. It was a perfect evening to a great day.
