Day 54 - Reunion with New Friends

Today we walked around Wellington. This is the first big city we've come across in NZ. We parked downtown and walked around the Harbor. I made an appointment to get my hair cut and colored since it REALLY needed to be done. I had let myself go way to long. Jim worked in the RV while I got my hair done.
We called the family we met in Invercargil. We first checked in to the Top Ten and then drove to their house that was located in Lower Hutt, which is on the north end of Wellington Harbor. Nicky and Brian and their two kids, Kate and Sam are the sweetest, nicest people. They live in the most adorable historic type home and have a beautiful garden. We chatted for a bit and then went our way since we were tired from our busy day in the city.
