Day 18 - Finally, New Zealand!

I can't believe we are finally here in New Zealand! We are exhausted from getting up at 5am for our flight, but excited to finally be here. We finally have caught up with our spirits! They've been hanging out here for months!

Cathederal

We picked up our motorhome from Adventure Motor Homes here in Christchurch. It's a 5 berth motor home and fits us perfectly and it's nice and clean. We even got mountain bikes for each of us so we can cruise around town and get our exercise (which hasn't been much lately). We spent most of the day shopping for groceries and supplies to stock the RV and then checked into Meadow Park Top 10 Holiday Park to get our powered site hookup. This park is huge. They have every type of accommodation for every budget. They have motel rooms, individual self contained cabins, 1 room tiny cabins, powered sites, camp sites, you name it. They even have an indoor pool, playground, private hot tubs (which we received a free reservation because we are now Top 10 members), movie room, email facilities, full kitchen and hot showers. It's super clean and it's a great way to meet people from all over the world. It's very busy since it's the summer holidays for Aussies and Kiwis, so we're all packed in like sardines. No worries though, we are here basically to kick it for the night.
