After a 10 hour flight arrived in Sydney. The flight was long, but good. We flew business class on Hawaiian Airlines which made a huge difference in our comfort level, but even with the spaciousness it still couldn't get rid of my splitting headache which appeared on the last leg of the flight. After a long line in customs and hailing a taxi, the headache turned to stomach upset where my body couldn't take anymore. I told the our Lebanese taxi driver to pull over and I ran out of the car to, well, put it simply, hurl. Welcome to Australia!
We arrived at the Vibe Hotel. It's a hip, young, boutique hotel. The rooms are o.k. and nice, nothing to write home about. The lounge area is better and the hotel is very contemporary. Once in our room, Jim got on the computer and worked for about half an hour (don't know how he does it) and I took a quick shower and went to bed. It was 10pm (1am for us).
