Off to Memphis today, saw the King's home (Gracelands). It was very interesting, especially the 60s and 70s decor. The Jungle Room was very good, especially the indoor waterfall and the green shagpile carpet on the ceiling!!
Saw the Memphis Grizzlies play the Utah Jazz (they're basketball teams). The Memphis Grizzlies lost, but we were still excited from getting FREE flags!!! Yes, a free souvenir!! We had to shout 'DEFENCE' everytime the grizzlies were defending, and even though we were up with the Gods in terms of seating, I think we put on a good display.
After that, we went to the Rumboogie bar where there were some people playing Blues music. It didn't seem structured, just anyone that had an instrument could get up and play. There was a guy there called Superchiken who everyone seemed to love, we think he was famous. Had a good night dancing and listening to the funky blues vibe.
