We got off a hi-ace minibus with 29 people on board to visit Salinas, where since Inca times a salty stream has been diverted into hundreds of salt pans, where the water then evaporates, leaving behind salt which is collected and used for salt licks. Canīt imagine farming salt pays very well.
  We are back in Cusco now heading onto Arequipa, by bus - we canīt wait.

29 people in a hi-ace. that only beat africa by one or two!! anyone breastfeed their child right beside you???
