We got the ridiculously overpriced backpacker train to the town of Aguas Calientes from Ollantaytambo - overpriced because itīs the only way of getting there - still, Aguas Calientes was much nicer than the Lonely Planet had led us to believe, the biggest downside being the vicious biting flies, which feasted on Brenda for the afternoon. We relaxed after getting there by soaking in the towns thermal baths, and counted the insect bites on Brenda's legs - final count 66.
