We made it to the little town of Pisac after a very trying day on public transport. We got up early the next morning to get to the ruined fort and village of Pisac before the tour groups, we were so early we even got there before the guards did, so we neednīt have bought a ticket at all!
The sweeping terracing was quite an eyeful and the walk between the various parts of the complex was carved into the cliff face and vertigo inducing - dangerous place to be an Inca staggering home from the pub.
When we got back the sleepy village of Pisac was crowded with market stalls and tourists and Brenda couldnīt help but buy an Alpaca wool jumper.
