What an exciting day yesterday!! A wonderful breakfast followed by us finding the biggest tourist trap ever (the mall). We managed to escape the mall with just one pair of pants for james and fish Pedicures for us both! This was a big deal for James since he has a huge fear of fish!! What a cool experince! I've seen it on Tv multiple times and desperately wanted to try. It mostly felt like the fish were tickling you, the people at the spa thought james was hilarious as he couldn't stop laughing and pulling his feet out of the fish tank! He survived!!

Later on in the day we set off for the spa for our massages!! MAN DID WE NEED THOSE!!!! we chatted up the girls giving the massages and we asked why everyone was so friendly. The proceeded to tell us they were raised to be gracious and hospitiable and make everyone feel welcome as if they were part of the family. Wow could the western world ever learn something from the Balinese people.

We finished off the day with pool side drinks and food! if you have a chance to try the Nusa Dua explosion it will put you on your ass! Finshed off the night with 12 hours of sleep, man we must have needed that!!

I guess your wondering what happened to my camera! F*#^!! so my SLR said the battery was empty, what does that even mean? Then on our way to 7am yoga my point and shoot decided to stop working! What the F^%&^%$^&%#&$@&#&*^%$*(^%(&!! If anyone has an suggestions let me know!!

But yoga was great! We found out how unflexible James is and the lady continued to laugh at him throughout the session. My mind is not calm enough for yoga, maybe that's something i need to work on. James loved the chanting lol!

We'll off to the pool for so sun and Nusa Dua explosions!!!

Love Alley & James

James' part: Despite what you might be thinking, I have not spent the entire trip being laughed at by the locals...the fish were pretty crazy and tickled my feet. As for yoga, I have zero flexibility and would have laughed at myself if I wasn't in so much pain. Alley and I are starting to get into the local food here...its pretty amazing. I had a satay dish yesterday that was out of this world. One thing we are getting used to is that the food, especially local dishes, are not served "hot." They are cooked earlier in the day and then sit around. Lonely Planet tells me this is normal and perfectly stomach, thus far, agrees.
That's it for today, the sun is buring off the rain cluds we had overnight and I'm off for the pool and some Bintangs!

Keep doing the yoga and you will be amazed at how quickly the flexibility comes. Sounds like R and R is just the ticket. Enjoy...where are you off to tomorrow. xoxo Mom and Dad.
