Sunday morning returns and it seems like we are creatures of habit. Steve's OCD has kicked in and apparently so has mine. Here i am in a coffee bar while Steve goes off on his Sunday exercise. The only differences from our regular Sundays are:

No one here recognizes me at the coffee bar!!

The coffee is cheap. The locals think it expensive. Nothing here, other than Versace scarves, is expensive. No Lesley I didn't buy one!! However both me and my bags are starting to reach baggage allowance.

No one is wearing lycra.

Looks like a professor and his student chatting about the Empress of India and British rule in a mixture of Italian and english. He is trying to explain the reason as to why the sun never sets on the British Empire?? I always thought that it was because the sun never shone in Britain but I could be wrong on this one. A Fascinating discussion in a mixture of languages so i never really get the full answer. Not my usual topic of discussions heard over the Dome coffee tables.

No background music anywhere. Peace!

Views that make you stop what your doing.

.....and there's a dog sitting at the table beside me and I haven't batted an eyelid!!

And lastly. Ive figured out that this must be the best time in history to invade Russia. Let me tell you, there is absolutely no one there this May. They are all in Italy and they are all following us around.

Denise Soby. FYI. Thunder and lightening was forecast for our three days here. It appears that the main engineer has been showing us kindness as again we have clear (almost)skies for our boat cruise to somewhere and have had the best weather all round. You did prophesy smooth sailing!! So if anyone sees Denise please let her know.

A real sadness has settled in. The sun has gone, to bed and so must I. So long, farewell...... It's a while since I saw The Sound Of Music. The sadness comes from discovering that George didn't realize I was in town and we must move on!! bad luck George.

PS. Indy. dogs drive cars on and boats here. Look at the photo.
