Dunedin - New Zealands Scottish city - Dunedin is actually Edinburgh in Celtic!
Well, after a while in New Zealands small towns its soooooooo nice to get to a city, where there are cars and people and shops! Even if it has been raining all day today.
The drive from Te Anau was nice, we drove through farmland with green rolling hills, dotted with thousands of sheep - the cows werent far behind them. We set the tent up when we arrived yesterday for 3 nights, and then jumped into the car and drove the short distance into the city centre where we decided to seperate for a while and do our crimbo shopping.
Dunedin is a beautiful city with some gorgeous architecture, some beauiful buildings and plenty going on. Today it was pouring down with rain, we spent the morning in the car at camp reading, then decided that we would head into the city once again and finish off our shopping, before that though we went to Cadbury's World
Now anyone who knows me knows how much I adore Cadburys Choccie - and these days Matts not far behind me! The smell of the Chocolate on the facory tour just had your mouth watering! Can you believe that the tour guide asked three questions to win some choccie and Matt and I answered correctly on two occassions! Hahaha....it was great, I can still smell the choccie now, of course we visited the shop along with everyone who was on our tour and made a few purchases!
Your Easter Eggs are being hollowed and are packed as we speak!
So, weather permitting tommorow we shall drive out to the Otago Peninsula and visit some seals, penguins and albatross....oh and New Zealands only restored castle, then we head down to Queenstown for Xmas......
Hugs
