We left Cape Town yesterday morning after getting ourselves organised and up Table Mountain first thing in the morning, luckily it was a clear day and there was hardly any winds, so the cablecar was running and the views were spectacular.
We walked around some of the pathways at the top of the mountain and looked down on the huge city of Cape Town, Robben Island and the beaches.

The day previous to that, we drove down to the V&A Waterfront and watched the seals, before taking the ferry to Robben Island. It was a really interesting tour, we were taken on a 45minute drive around the island looking at the Lime Quarry where the prisoners were made to work and then on a walking tour with our guide who in the 70's was a political prisoner hiself at Robben Island. We saw penguins there and saw Nelson Mandelas cell, they were so small...it was a very sad but very interesting experience Mossel Bay

So, after dragging ourselves away from Cape Town (I mean literally dragging, its soooo beautiful and we could definatly live there) we drove East for 5 hours, through gorgeous countryside, mountains and small towns, until we arrived here on the coast at Mossel Bay.

Its a small seaside town, most tourists here are South African, there arent many other international tourists as for some reason the town is usually overlooked and people drive that bit further the bigger towns. Its got a Tankerton/Whitstable feel about it!

Last night we ate dinner overlooking the Indian Ocean and today we are just chilling out, maybe go into town and some Christmas shopping and then lay around relaxing and reading!

Tommorow we are heading inland to Oudtshoorn, a bigger town famous for its Ostrich farms.

Thats all for Now~

Love, hugs and miss you all......
