Kisoro.....to trek with the mountain gorillas

Well we joined our overland truck on Friday afternoon, the truck is fairly comfy and spacious at the moment, but when we get to Nairobi in a few weeks it shall be full as more people are joining....then it will be a tight squeeze!
On Saturday we took a minibus to Entebbe and visited the wildlife sanctuary there, it was beautiful, set on Lake Victoria, with lots of animals that they have rescued from surrounding countries and parts of Uganda, we got to touch a Rhino and got real close to a lion and a crocodile...it was good fun. After visiting here we took a small boat across Lake Victoria to Ngamba Island, this is a Chimpanzee sanctuary...it was brilliant, we got to see them being fed, and learned that they are the closest animal to humans...you could easily see this though, one even held out his hand as he was to get fed!
Yesterday we travelled from Kampala to Lake Bunyoni, its spectacular there, we diddnt see anything as we are back there in a few days, that was just an overnight stop to break up the journey.
Today we drove through beautiful countryside to Kisoro, this small town is near the borders of Rwanda and Congo, tommorow we are going into Congo to go Mountain Gorilla trekking...weve heard that sometimes the hike is 5 hours or so! We hope not!
