Olympos

Ive already written all of this once before the computer cut out!!

So just briefly!

We went on our 4 day Gulet cruise which took us from Fethiye to Olympos via the towns of Kas and Simena, it was a bit of a letdown.....the cabin was skanky and made you heve from the smell of the toilet, i mean we wernt expecting a 5 star cruise or anything, but for the money we paid it was dreadful, when we did stop in places we only had an hour and a half there max!

We bought a new camera....200 pound! Its a digital so we can still upload piccies but the connection from here is crap so we wont do them just yet!

The food on the cruise was fantastic which was great, we are glad that we went but both have said that we wouldnt do it again, 12 people on one tiny boat for 4 days was a bit much, we both had to keep our mouths shut a few times and just longed for some privacy.

We did however sleep under the stars on the deck of the boat with nearly everyone else! Maybe the cabin being so rotten was a blessing in disguise! It was great to be rocked gently to sleep by the sea and fall asleep listening to the sound of the water.

We were both ill though on seperate occasions and still have sea legs!

We will stay here in Olympos for just one more night, tommorow we shall take a bus to Antalya and connect with an overnight bus to Goreme, a village in the Cappadocia region of Turkey, known for its volcanic rock.

Today we are going down to the beach where there are some ruins as well, and tonight we are going up Mount Olympos and visiting a site called Chimeara, this is known for the gas leaking out of the rocks and igniting when it hits the air so should be quite amazing!

Sorry for rambling but so worried that the connections gonna go again!
