Since we last wrote we enjoyed a fantastic day on a boat cruise across Lake Koyciegiz where we were staying, we went across the lake and down the Dalyan River, a quick look at the Lycian tombs and down to Iztuzu beach, we swam in the warm sea and had lunch there which was fab! After leaving the beach we went to the Mud Baths in Dalyan, what an incerdible experience, our skin felt soooo soft afterwards.....the only downfall was the stench of the mud! But we got stuck in and rolled around like pigs! In our hair and everywhere.....it was such fun!
Later that day we went swimming in the Lake and then back to our hostel.

On Saturday we took the bus to Olu Deniz, we stayed on a campsite in a small wooden bungalow, the benifit of staying here is that it was right on the beach.
Our main aim in Olu Deniz was to go paragliding, so on the first day there we booked our spot for yesterday - Sunday!
We chilled on the beach and visited the stunning Blue Lagoon National Park which you see in every Turkey book or holiday brochure, we were suprised to find when we stepped onto the beach that its actually shingle and pebbles not the sand that you expect it to be.
We only stayed in Olu Deniz two nights as it was soooo expensive! It was a beautiful place, but to be honest you could have been anywhere in the world, what I mean is there wasnt much that was Turkish about the place - if you want tacky tourist shops and British bars then its ideal, but not for us.
So.... Yesterday - off we went in an open top 4x4 jeep high up into the mountains, I am not exagerating when I say that there were pure drops either side of the road and hairpin bends that the driver overtook on! Anyone who knows me knows that I am absolutley terrified of heights....So it shall come as no surprise that 45 mins later when we got to the top I was in tears!
There was no way that we were going back down that mountain and so the only way down was to run off a cliff with a strange man attatched to your back and a sail high above you!!
It was amaaaaaaaaazing! There is no word in the dictionary to describe the feeling you have when you are floating through the air, Matt and I were waving at each other, both terrified but ecstatic at the same time!
Matt did a spiral through the air! That means whirling around almost upside down high in the sky!!!
So, Im not sure what will top that experience......Matt thinks Bungy jumping!!!
Today we left Olu Deniz and came to Fethiye, a stunning harbour town, tommorow we are off on a Gulet cruise around to Olympos, from there we shall go into the mountains and visit Cappadocia and then make our way towards Syria.

By the way.....We think that the camera is busted, so until we can come up with a solution or get it fixed, you will have to gaze into our eyes from our previous postings!!!
