We are staying here for three nights, in the Tango Pension, which is a clean, quiet hostel.
Its sooooooo much hotter here, the further south we go the hotter it seems to get!
It was so hot when we arrived yesterday afternoon that we spent a few hours just chilling in our room next to our fan! We wandered early evening down to the Lake which is approximatley 5 mins away.
The lake is beautiful, the streets are narrow and full of locals not tourists.
Today we are just relaxing, going down to the lake in a bit for a swim and to cool down.
There is a waterfall that is about 10kms from here that we would like to see, and tommorow we are taking a boat trip across the lake down the Dalyan river, there are mud baths and sulphur pools there, then we shall visit the tombs at the ancient city of Caunos and onto Iztuzu beach which is famous as a nesting ground for the turtle, and they are nesting there this time of year.
On Saturday we shall make the short 2 hour trip towards Fethiye, maybe stay there or in Olu Deniz for 3 nights before our cruise.
