We took a three hour bus ride up to the Calcium cliffs known as Pamukkale.
We had a pleasant trip on the bus with no problems and arrived there around noon, which gave us about 4 hours to explore the travertines and bathe in the pools. It was a scorching hot day, but well worth going, unfortunatley due to so many tourists visiting some of the pools have dryed up and the cliffs are not so white as they used to be, but as I have been lookýng at Pamukkale in holiday brochures for years, it was nice to finally get there and see them, even if we did feel a little guilty doing it.
