We started off yesterday with a visit to the Uffizi. It's a big art gallery containing art from Michelangelo, Leonardo, Raphael, and Botecelli. Yeah, I was a little disappointed that there was 3 of the 4 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The tour was LONG and getting kind of boring. Most of the art was impressive, and probably culturally important. However, after looking at so many art pieces and being talked at for so long, I just couldn't pay attention anymore. It was a long tour, so I wasn't that impressed with it.
After the tour, we left to go get some lunch at the Oil Shoppe. I got a meatball sub. Again, not impressed. BUT, on the way to the sandwich shop, I got an Italia sweatshirt for 10 euro - very exciting. That actually might have been the best part of the day. After lunch, we had a very short break before heading off to class. Again, boring. We had class without internet until 7:30 in the evening
The rest of the night went fast. We hung out with some friends at the hotel for a bit, then came back and did homework until we fell asleep.
We woke up and went to school early to do more homework so that we were prepared for class. Today was the first day we would have Judge Scirica teaching our Comparative ConLaw class (3rd Circuit Court of Appeals). Since he's only a step down from the Supreme Court in our jurisdiction, we didn't want to look unprepared.
Again, school was horribly boring. Judge Scirica didn't call on a single person for the entire class, so we prepared for the sake of preparing. The classrooms are still warm because the Italians don't like to turn the air conditioning on for us, and four hours of class in the afternoon is just brutal.
We came home after class, and Amber and I made tortellini for dinner. We invited our next door neighbor, Nick, and had a small dinner party. Very delicious. After dinner, Amber and I went to buy our tickets to Naples and Pompei for this weekend. We saved money by creating our own layovers at the train station instead of buying the tickets that they offered to us. I can't wait until this weekend! It's going to be fun. One more day of classes to go! After the train station, we did our normal evening activities. The girls and I go on a walk for some ice cream, do some homework, and catch up on some emails/phone calls. Then we head for bed. Since we are up early for classes in the morning, it'll be an early night.

! This is torture. Then, after class, the girls and I went on a short walk, then came back for a spaghetti dinner that we made ourselves. While Amber was making dinner, I was working on dessert. Mmmm, I had some left over ingredients from the last time I made dessert, so I made it again to use up the rest of the ingredients and because it was super good. The rest of the night went fast.
