Have been taking it a bit easy this week, the new volunteers have arrived and and lovely. Scott and Talia, both 17 from manchester. We have moved to the new school now and the plays are going well and this kids are lovely on a whole. performing it next thursday.
Rode an elephant for 5 mins on tuesday and got my hand hennard up, also danced witht the folk dancey people and drew a big crowd at choki dahni (an indian traditional butlins..lol).
Bought the vorlds funniest trainers today cause i needed shoes for camel trekking this weekend the jaisalmeir. leaving at 3 mins to midnight this evening and it's a 13hour train ride. really excited though :)
can't believe i've been here 3 weeks already, feels like an age but no time at all at the same time. only 1 more week of the project then hit the hymilayas with simon and steph then fly home :( wishing i had another month or 6. forgot my camera lead today but maybe upload photos next week or something. I managed to loose my maleria tablets somewhere so have replaced them over here. cost only 85 rps (about 1gbp) crazy who much is was in england.
hindi is progressing well and have completed the writtern alphabet and numbers 1-50 (on a good day), even got 5/8 on a spelling test.
over and out amigos.

what about the dog?
Lovely to hear that you are making the most of any experience that comes your way we hope that you were kind to the Elephant as they never forget and there will be plenty of photos for us to see when you get back. (still waiting to find out about the dog hope that you are not planning to bring it home!....) All well here and the weather is being kind at the moment but must not speak to soon. Nan going back to hospital on the 3rd of September to sort her out but doing well at the moment, so another tag team between you and Nan as you will be back on the same day.
Dad and I are going to go to Westbourne for a day trip next Wednesday and staying over to Thursday as it is our 32nd,Beryl coming over.
Keep safe love mum and dad and nanny in the cupboard sends sloppy kisses XXXXXXXX
