Ah the first day here!!!  It's been the day of ali's,  firstly I am Ali(son), secondly the man who risked his life driving me from the airport was called Ali and then as i went in search of food a man tried to sell me earrings was called Ali.  The last of the Ali's has since helped me all day finding my way about and stopping me getting lost.  Deep thoughts on life the universe and everything, an offer of marriage, a very firm refusal and a few auto rickshaws later and im back in my hostle tired but happy and safe. 

I'm learning  the phrase for 'I don't need that' now it's much needed.

Nothing can prepare you for just how hot and sticky it is, and how much it rains (stupid really cause it is monsoon season)

Well I lived through my first day in Delhi but still haven't really slept since i left the UK so i'm gonna go down to my little sauna box room now and shower and try and sleep.
