We caught the bus from Prague to Cesky Krumlov. It was a luxury bus actually (it has comfy seats, wifi (didn't work), a hostess who offered hot drinks and movies - it had a kids Christmas movie, I love Christmas movies so that kept me happy). There were some noisy Americans behind us on the bus: "I need to take my ani bi odics. Oh yeah last night I met this guy. Oh yeah I need my ani bi odics..."

Cesky Krumlov is tourist town ++. We stayed at a pretty nice pension. Our room had views over the river which was cool.

-We walked into town (not far) and went to the bakery. We had apple strudel pastries which were really good and coffee milk!! They don't have enough flavored milk in Europe. The pastries were really good.
-We went on a guided tour with this guy who is from San Fransisco who married a woman from CK. It was fairly interesting. Lots of the buildings in CK have fancy decorations sort of carved into the stone which were covered up with plaster for a long time and now they are starting to remove it on some of the buildings.
-saw an old church and some other old things and the river
-it would have been cool to go rafting or canoing on the river but we couldn't afford to get our clothes wet and it was a bit too cold...
-we went up to the castle which was built before 1250. Just outside the castle there are three bears!!! Pretty cool huh. The bears have a bit of greenery and water so they might be happy. They get fed as well.
-we walked around the castle grounds (free) and we paid to go up the tower which was pretty cool. We couldn't be bothered to pay to go into the castle itself.
-We spied on a wedding that was in the castle grounds. They had funny euro pop music playing. That was pretty cool.
-we went out for dinner at a restaurant that was next to the vegetarian restaurant. It was okay - very cheap though (lots of things seemed like expensive tourist trap places)
