After a quick visit to China Town we got back to the hotel to pack up our things and take advantage of our last night of luxury!

We arrived at our new hotel only to be told that we didn't have free wi-fi in our room and we would have to pay by the hour. It wasn't too expensive but it all mounts up. We decided to have a little wander around our new area and ended up at a zoo. When we first approached the entrance we thought it was going to be a rip off (like London Zoo) but it turned out to be £2 each! Then we thought because it was so cheap it would be rubbish...

It was amazing! We stroked and fed a mum and baby elephant, bottle fed goats and Sam even fed a shark a piece of fish which was on the end of a fishing rod (the shark was about 9ft)!

We happily left our hotel this morning and arrived at our new hotel, very basic but cheap and perfectly located in a lively part of the city. We met a guy called Taffy who is travelling for a few weeks and he recommended an ideal place but unfortunately they were fully booked!

Yesterday afternoon (just after a successful Skype session with mum&dad) there was a huge storm, we have never seen anything like it. We could see the rain coming from miles away and then once it got close we couldn't even see out the window it was coming down so heavy! After about an hour of strong wind, rain and a bit of thunder and lightening it started to clear just in time for us to head out for dinner.

We still haven't plucked up the courage to try any insects and I think we'll save that for when we've had a few too many beers! We're heading to Vietnam on Wednesday and were really looking forward to getting to the coast and enjoying some of the beautiful beaches and greenery and getting away from the high rise buildings and Tuk tuks!!!

Ps.. Happy Fathers Day!
