Alex: Another early morning for the 2 and a half hour bus ride from Colonia to Montevideo, the Uruguayan capital, it also cuts the price in half of getting the boat to from Buenos Aires to Montevideo. After Buenos Aires, Montevideo had a decidedly small town feel about it, which wasn't a bad thing. Again it is a really nice place, more nice squares and some really impressive buildings in the old town including one that was once the tallest building in South America. We were surprised at the number of older gringos around and the number of British accents we heard around, all was explained however when we saw the Queen Mary II in the dock! We did yet more city wandering and had another a walk along the front next to the less brown sea. After all that exertion we had to have a little sleep before going out for some food!
