Travel to Talkeetna

Alex: Travel to Talkeetna (tal-keet-na) today. We had to go back up from Seward to Anchorage, had an hour in Anchorage and wandered around a market, and then on to Talkeetna. Another stunning journey, saw a grizzly bear a couple of meters from the bus and a bald eagle in its nest.
Talkeetna is small and quaint, you are supposed to be able to get good views of McKineley/Denali on clear day (which today isn't). Nice Hostel, Good Pizza for tea and more Alaskan Microbrew - good day! Dean: We also saw our first Moose (from about 50 meters away) on the way up, from the coach. We need to get a closer look at one before we leave - but not too close as they can be a bit temperamental!

O!, sorry to hear Dean was sea sick, but what wonderful things you are seeing already. It all sounds wonderful.
