Hello Again! After Ella we got on the train that was built by the British in the Colonial timesa nd probably hasn't changed much since then. However, old though it may be it is amazing and one of the highlieghts of the trip so far. The views are amazing, zig zagging around the mountains, through tea plantations and across stunning bridges! The train is pretty basic, we went for second class tickets which for a 4 hour trip cost about a pound for both of us. From Ella we went to a place called Nuara Ella which is Nicknamed Little England for obvious reasons, the houses look English, the street names are English and there is even an old English race cource. It is about 2000 metres above sea level and gets cold at night but the good thing about that is there are no Mosquitos much to our delight. It was also an oportunity to have our 1st hot shower in 2 weeks! We took some nice walks but only stayed a day before getting on the AMAZING train to Kandy, Sri Lanka's second city!
