English - Hi there! Long time no write travelpod....that is because the Islands, as magical as they are, happen to be a complete rip off in the internet and phoning home departments. That said and done we have had an amazing time on them. We started our trip from Bangkok again although I am sure the map says we just took a boat straight across. The bus took 7 hours down to the port of Chumpon where we caught the "night ferry" for 6 hours across to the Island of Koh Tao. The night ferry actually turned out to be a converted fishing boat with 20 mattresses on the floor. In any case I had a good nights kip before watching the sun rise over the Island of Koh Tao, our home for the next week. The first night we stayed on the popular beach of Sarrie (I think?) because it was close. This turned out to be a bit of a disappointment so the next thing we did was hire a "ped" and tour the Island searching for paradise. We found it in the form of a bay called Tanote. A small enclave on the coast line with its own reef and surrounded by Islands...perfect! It also had 2 diving outfits and we managed to score a really nice beach bungalow for about 4 quid a night. We stayed here for a week where I completed my advanced PADI diving course and Klarka gained a lot of experience. Highlight of the week had to be diving Chumpon Pinnacle with Klarka, with more fish than a sushi market in Tokyo - alive thankfully. Another highlight was my first night dive of which there are going to plenty more!!! The pictures do not do this place justice and I hope we go back some day. Next stop the Island of Koh Phangan and the full moon party!!!!

Nastesti jsme nasli takovy maly raj a to kouzelnou malou plaz, ke ktere vedla dost rozbyta cesta, a ztacela se z velkych utesu dolu, takze jsme to cele museli sejit pesky.
