English - Wehey! We finally escaped the clutches of India and arrive in Bangkok on Klarka's birthday! From the minute we landed we were impressed! The people here are really friendly, and it was such a culture shock to be treated like a human being again. We stayed in Bangkok for 3 days catching up on a bit of therapy - Klarka went for a facial, Alex went to the pub, then Klarka had to carry Alex home! Thankfully that was not on Klarka's birthday. For that, we hit the shops, or should I say the biggest market in the world and treated ourselves to Sushi and a few drinks! Best thing in Bangkok has to be the transport from Jumping on the Sky Train and whizzing around the city above the noise and the traffic to clambering onto one of the crazy river ferries, hurtling up the canals as if you are late for everything! We also took a trip to Jim Tompson's house - the reason for the Flaming Wok - Long story! The Food! Oh the food! The food here is to die for! We found an amazing place in MBK Shopping Mall that does beef tendon stew for under a quid with noodles, meat balls liver and just about everything. I have been back 3 times just for this reason. We stayed here for 3 days before hitting one of the beaches on the Island of Koh Tao. S[ecial thanks to Brendon and Sandra for showing us round!

Czech - Jupiii, konecne jsme unikli blaznive Indii,a ja jsem mela snad jedny z nejuzasnejsich a nejorigonalnejsich oslav mych narozenin a to 3 uzasne stravene dny v super modernim meste Bangkok.Ubytovaly jsme se ve velice milem hotelu v Siam Squer, hned vedle Ski Train a nejvedsich shoping center a casti mesta plne kavaren ,Mc Donnald, KFC,proste vsechno co nam pripomnelo domov.Ja jsem konecne mohla okusit uzasne chutne thaiske pokrmy/hlavne morske plody a levne nudle s grilovanym masem, ktere lide na kazdem rohu pripravuji na ulici, je to zeme jidla, pac tolik uzasnych veci ktere jsme jeste neokusili na nas teprve cekaji.Je tady ovoce vseho druhu, a lide? Snad jedni znejpratelstejsich lidi ktere jsme kdy potkali.Tak jednoduche je tady cestovat.....konecne, vsechny autobusy jsou pohodlne s A/C.Na me narozeniny jsme zasli do poradneho baru na [poradne pivo-Alex konecne zazaril, po prvnim..:]]]]a ja jsem si zasla na masaz obliceje a tak trosku opet vypadat jako clovek...:]], Po Bangkoku jsme se na 3 dny jeli vykoupat na uzasny ostrov Ko Samet, ale jelikoz je to jeden z nejdrazsich ostrovu,rozhodli jsme se jet o ostrov dal a to pod nazvem Ko Thao.Hura se potapet....
