English - After reaching stardom in Mumbai as extra's in the Bollywood movie we took an 18hr sleeper train North to Jaipur in Rajasthan. Jaipur is referred to as the Pink city which I am sure it was once. However, urban sprawl and pollution and seriously affected the image of the city as you would expect from the capital of the state of Rajasthan. While here we visited the Windy Palace and a mountain fort. After 3 days in Jaipur we headed west to the religious town on Pushka with over 400 temples!!! The town is tiny and centered around a small lake reached by Holy ghats. Everyday the town is filled with a mix of religious pilgrims, travelers, hippies and locals all there for their own reasons. It is a mad little place where just sitting in one of the chai shops on the street watching the world go by can be most entertaining. We took a 6am walk up a local hill to watch the sunrise with a load of Gibbons and relaxed on the roof tops with a few "special" lassi's with friends Stu, Lucy and Kate! After Pushka we took a night bus 8 hours south to Udaipur which is a really nice city. In fact it feels a lot different other cities. It is surrounded by mountains, set around lakes and filled with enchanting and magical palaces which is why I guess the choose to film Octopussy here (James Bond). We are staying in a really nice Guest house called Palace View which as well as being really cheap is like living with an Indian family. The food is amazing and we have dinner on the roof overlooking the Palace every night as the sun sets! Tonight we take another sleeper train the Jodpur "the blue city".
Czech - Z Mombaye jsme si vzali 18 hodinovy spaci vlak do Radzastanu mesta Jaipur.
Pani domu nam navarovala uzasne veci a mohli jsme sledovat uzasne osvicene mesto a pohadkovy Palac jako z pribehu tisice a jedne noci.
