Kanyakumari

English - What!!! Get this, our train was at 1:45am and we were like Zombies! There was no space in standard or sleeping so we had to get the expensive Air-Con Sleeping carriage (about a fiver for 6 hours). So we left Madurai and headed as far south as is possible to Kanyakumari or Cape Comorin. The sleeper train was nice although the problem with traveling 1st class is that the passengers generally have a bit more money. More money = more food, more food = bigger passengers, bigger passengers = very loud snoring all the way! I drowned it out with the CD Player and Klarka was so whacked she didn't even notice! We stayed in a fleapit of a place because it was only for one night. It was a nice feeling to be this far south and see where the Bay of Bengal meets the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean. As well as lots of pilgrims and tourist the place is also famous for its Wondering Monk statue (Vivekananda) on a large rock in the sea. He spent a lot of time wondering India learning about the diversity of religion and culture, trying to better understand its people... I wonder if we will have a statue built for us when we finish, probably not! We watched the sun set here which was very impressive and woke up in the morning with a Cockroach staring right at us. Next stop the picturesque state of Kerela.

Czech - Brzy rano, a to opravdu brzy v 1:45 jsme pokracovali dal a to vlakem, v loznim kupe prvni tridy, takze celkem pohodlny, az na jednoho chrapajiciho inda, do mestecka Kanyakumari jsme dorazili kolem 8 hodiny, nasly jsme jen jedno levne misto, ktere tedy vypadalo jak narozpadnuti,ale jedna noc, proc ne. Navstivili jsme na lodi jeden mali ostruvek na kterym byla postavena socha znameho mnicha a obrovsky chram, ktery mel krasny vyhled na ostrov Kanyakumari, take jsem si nemohli nechat ujit zapad slunce nad mistem kde se stretava bengalsky zaliv a arabske more.Bylo to uzasny, pri pojidani nam nam papaji. Noc v nasim zapadakove hotelu usla, az na rani privitani svaba, v nasem pokoji druhy den rano:]]]
