Right now i'm in the Netherlands with Rhiannon, staying with our friend Liz from Sydney.

Tilburg is a lovely little town about 1 1/2 hours south of Amsterdam. We got a chance to explore a little bit of Amsterdam on Wednesday and go to see Anne Frank's house which was really really interesing. Today Liz also took us to a town nearby, Breda, which had some really lovely buildings and coffee shops (mum- some very nice shoe shops too!)

Of course, being St Patricks day, I am preparing to have a nap in anticipation of the big night ahead. There are a few Irishmen in Liz's building and the've been riling everyone up since 11am this morning.

Tomorrow we're being taken on an international students excursion to Maastricht, a town right near the Belgium border. Then we're off to Lyon in France. Eurail all the way.
