An old city with royal connections dating back many years.
We spent an excellent day cycling about Solo and it's suburbs across the river. We watched men fish using electricity, we watched eight men hammering the bjesus out of a large sheet of metal, soon to become a local traditional instrument. We watched roof slates being fashioned from clay, rice crackers produced and much more besides. We even ate at an Italian restaurant, and I scoffed down pizza. It had cheese on it! real cheese!
